No one said affiliate marketing was going to a piece of cake. Sure everyone says it will but in reality it is hard. Try convincing someone online to buy a product that is generalized or seems to good to be true. However, do not give up yet, there is hope. I will teach you the best tools you can use to become a successful affiliate.
1. Keyword search: Before going all out on your product make absolutely sure you know what the product does and have a great understanding of it. People usually just look at the product skim right through it and just try to advertise it with the best of knowledge. Most affiliates fail because they don't fully know the product inside and out. If you can buy the product that your promoting. Usually affiliates who buy the product seem to advertise better and receive better results. Also experiment on Google and see how many people search for that keyword. This seems to be the best way to help you optimize your keyword and bring customers that want that particular product. Don't waste your money on general keywords, you're only going to lose money. The better you optimize your keywords the more customers are looking for that product.
2. Link Cloaking: Personally this has a bad draw to it. Link cloaking basically hides your link when a customer is being directed to that page. The bad news is sometimes the internet redirects your page somewhere else. What I recommend doing is rather than doing it that way. Just fess up $10 dollars and get a domain that way other affiliates can't steal anything from you.
3. Google Adsense: Make a website about your product and try to start from there. Use that and try to advertise, not only will you get customers but you get paid to get clicked. It is free and user friendly. Remember, to make it more professional, buy a domain from Godaddy or other sites that provide that.
4. Pictures: A word can mean many things. A picture is something that they see. I suggest using banners, images of your ads, and etc. Remember not everything can be covered in one word, sometimes a picture explains itself better. Also keep in mind to put a link inside the picture so that way people will click on it.
